Those poor bees in Brooklyn, turning red from Maraschino Cherries. No one told them about MARASCA Cherries. Guess that's why it's called a Manhattan!

 2 oz. your favorite Rye  

3/4 oz. Carpano Antica vermouth 

Angostura bitters

Take a double old-fashioned glass and fill it almost full withcubed ice. Douse the ice with 2 dashes of bitters. Add the rye andvermouth. Stir gently. Garnish with a Marasca Cherry!
