Martin Miller's Gin & Lychee Mojito

 Martin Miller

That incredible gin maker in England.
I got going the other day with the phrase
"GIN and LYCHEE Mojito"
Be still my beating heart and salivating glands.
What could be more fantastical.
So I took out my bottle of MM. (Yes, it is something I stock on my shelves).
And lychee juice, another staple in my coffers. Plucked some mint right from the garden.
Whipped up simple syrup.
Called my local go to Cocktail Goddess who high tailed it to my place to help out with the downing of the libation.

The mixing went as such for 2 delectable refreshments
Muddle about 3 or 4 sprigs of fresh mint with 1 ounce of simple syrup
in a mixing glass.
Add 1 ounce of lime juice
about 3 ounces of Monsieur Miller's Excellent Gin
and 2 ounces of Lychee juice.
Fill the glass with ice, put the top on the Boston Shaker and shake it up.

Now everyone should have a handy ice crusher.
Fill both glasses with lots of crushed ice.

Double strain the mix (because NOBODY wants green bits in their teeth)
 into both glasses.
And for the finale, top up with soda water, garnished with a sprig of mint (alas I had no lychees to use).

So hats off to you Martin Miller,
you and your gorgeous Gin.
