Milk Punch

On a snowy day, while you pass the hours watching snowflakes,
contemplating that no two are alike,
what better drink to sip than that old Southern favorite,
Milk Punch.
Purportedly the drink one sips while preparing goodies for the Holidays, the richness of the cream makes it one to sip slowly all day long!

 Recipe for one drink
 1.5 oz. of Bourbon
2 oz. of half & half
1 t. of sugar
a drop of Vanilla extract or a bit of a scrape from the inside of a vanilla bean
All placed into a cocktail shaker with ice, Shaken until frothy and strained into a hi-ball glass. Garnish with a grating of nutmeg.
